New York City

Recently I took a trip to one of my favorite places, New York City.  One of the things that I find so interesting about New York City is the people.  On any given walk around the block you are probably going to hear at least 2 different languages being spoken and signs written in different languages.  While I have always appreciated this, since I have begun my ESL studies I now find this even more interesting.  What an amazing thing, to have so many different cultures together in one city!  It also made me think about how ESL education works in NYC public schools.  I have just started to look into this.  In the meantime I was thinking about how you would find you would make your way around a city when you are unsure of what is being said.  Below is a link to an online ESL dictionary to help with this.  Hopefully more information will come about ESL in NYC :)
